The Children’s Ministry of Bethel Church affirms the home as the center of Biblical guidance. Parents are the most important people in a child’s life, and learning about God starts in the home. Teaching children about God is a seven-day-a-week effort, not something that can be done just an hour or two on Sunday morning. We want to partner with you in your child’s spiritual education.

We have a staffed nursery that is open during the church service (10:30am—12pm).  Children 2 years and under are welcome to come to the nursery and enjoy a snack, play or rest in one of our quiet crib rooms.  We also have spare clothes in our nursery if you need a change of clothes for your children sizes 6 months—4 years.  Parents are required to sign their young ones into the nursery and take a pager.

Sunday school aged children (3 years and up) will begin church in the sanctuary with their families.  This allows the children as well as our teachers the opportunity to remain connected to the congregation and be involved in worship prior to Sunday school.  Children will be dismissed from church to attend Sunday school around 11am.  Preschool - Grade 2 classrooms are in the west wing basement, Grade 3 - 6 classrooms are in the west wing upstairs, and the Grade 7-9 classroom is above the kitchen in the east wing.

We offer the children 'Activity Box Sunday' once a month.  On this Sunday, the children will remain in church with their families.  This also allows our teachers to attend a church service once a month.  Our regular Sunday school classes will finish on November 24, 2019.  We will be practicing for our Christmas program during December and will have Activity Boxes for December 22, 29 and January 5.  Regular Sunday school will resume January 12, 2020.
